In the Beginning....
In the beginning I was, then I realized that there was a world of living things
all around me and my fascination with all living things began. I have been
involved with nature in one way or another, I have done work for the local
zoos education department preparing specimens for display, and also I have
been involved with various other nature organizations volunteering or working.
Our aim at Insectopia is to encourage public involvement by inspiring a new
generation of amateur naturalists with a deep appreciation of nature through
collecting these beautiful insects also to support the growing number of Eco
friendly butterfly farms throughout the tropics.
I started my insect collection as a kid by collecting insect off the front
of parked car grills, most specimens were not much more then a legs or wings.
Anyways I learned to catch specimens and in short order I had begun my exciting
joinery as a Bug hunter.
So in short that’s how I began with insects and began selling them about
9 years ago as a hobby and it continues to grow as a business. I am always
on the lookout for new catchers to buy from or trade specimens.
We at Insectopia will bring you the best quality specimens at competitive prices. We also provide finished products such as professional Museum framed butterflies and beetles, also insects under glass domes these make beautiful and unique gifts and are always well admired.
We offer these finished products at wholesale prices to retail outlets, contact

Our expanding clientele includes a broad range of people interested in nature,
from entomologist, painters, photographers, fashion designers and interior
